Non accidents: Toddler on the street and Bike theft in action

I have been saying for a while dash cams it nice to have a dash cam as it seems to record things beyond its main purpose. Given that's always rolling, unlike a cell phone or traditional camera, may catch some crimes in action or unsafe incidents.

Here in the Toronto area, the police request being look at their dash cams when driving in the area around the time a serious crime took place.


Toddler on the street
Cammer does a Uturn to retrieve a toddler on the street.

Bike theft in action
Cammer records someone using a grinding tool to break a bicycle lock on a street and promptly ride away with the bike. Its a suction cup kind of mount and cammer is able to turn the camera in the area of the crime.

Yes those battery tools have made some things a lot more easy, even things you should not do.
I would have flying drop-kicked the SOB, maybe tested the grinder on him ( accidents happen )
