The F7NA just launched, and we'd rather hear what this community thinks of it than tell you ourselves.
We're sending out 1 free unit to forum members for real-world test. You drive it, you write up what you actually think: good, bad, whatever. We don't touch your review.

What you get

Who we're looking for
You don't need to be a reviewer or have a big following. We're just looking for people who actually drive and will write something honest when they're done.
  • Active posting history on this forum, account at least 6 months old
  • A real daily driving routine — commute, city, highway, parking, any combination
  • Willing to post a written review with photos or footage after the two weeks, at least a few solid paragraphs
Write it however you want. We're not looking for a product page, just genuine impressions from someone who used it.

What your review should cover (these are suggestions, not requirements)
  • Night and low-light footage quality — this is the feedback we're most curious about
  • How it compares to whatever you're running now
  • Wi-Fi transfer speed in practice
  • Mount stability and install experience
  • App usability
  • Anything that surprised you, positively or otherwise
How to apply
Reply to this thread with three things:
  1. What dash cam you're currently running and how long you've had it
  2. Your typical driving situation — city, highway, mostly parked, mix of all three
  3. One sentence on why you want to test this one

Red Tiger graciously provided me this camera as a replacement due to issues described in this thread:


I got this installed last Saturday. I like it better than my last model. The resolution of the screen is more clear. I like the touch screen. It is responsive and precise. It is recording properly and syncing it up with the app was painless. The app functions well.

The driver assistance mode was on when I left the installers and this function needs A LOT of work. I would get lane departure warnings when driving straight but lines were worn down or not there. Any curve resulted in lane deviation warning. The warning of when a car in front of me pulled away at a stop light occurred 5 to 10 seconds after I started moving. I left it on for 2 days to see if it would improve and it didn't. Therefore I disabled this function in the settings.

I would be willing to buy this camera. Many thanks to Elena and the rest of the Red Tiger team in helping me trouble shoot issues with the old camera and providing me a replacement. They didn't have to do that. This is exceptional customer service. As their products improve I'll certainly consider upgrading in the future.
