So many totally & blatantly false advertising spec claims out there (no need to ask me about my RedTiger f7n touch $#%@!) - now just coming across this latest claim on this "Oslo Pro3" - thought that this time I would come here 1st for some real-world trusted FACTS!

True 4k @60fps + 170' fov?

- Any real world actual feedback sincerely appreciated!
TIA good peeps.

I think somone just leaning against Dji Osmo action cameras, that will do 4K/60 easy.

Oslo is the capitol of Norway. 😀

I have never heard of this brand, i would spin on a dime and run in the opposite direction.

60 FPS is nice if you do scenic drive videos, though then the wide agnle lenses of dash and action cameras are a issue you have to crop into in post.
For accident evidence purpose 30 FPS is all i would ever consider. ( i have compared identical 30 VS 60 FPS cameras in the good old 1080p days, there was 0 gain in that, more a loss actually as the same bitrate was just spread out over 60 FPS and so a thinner " layer of image quality "
There for sure was 0 gain in regard to details like plate capture.

Today as some cameras can handle two 4K cameras in 30 FPS, there is no doubt the SOC sould also handle just 1 channel with 4K/60 FPS, but you should not mention something like that even if it is a option when you are selling a multi channel system, that when running 2 or more channels will not do that.
Selling a 1 channel system that can indeed do it CUZ it have the hardware that support it, sure flaunt it if you got it.

Searched for the osmo 3 pro and found it on walmart dot com - says it's a 2026 model but walmart has it on clearance already??? Front camera 2160p, rear 1080p, WDR not HDR - you con do much better from a name brand for not very much more.

4K60 isn't a big deal. GoPros and mirrorless cams have been doing that for years, though it is pretty new for dashcams.

As for the Osmo Dashcam Pro3, do you mean this model? That's a noname dashcam from CXZASDELPA, whoever that is, and I highly doubt that cheapy thing can do 4K60, lol. The specs list 30fps max either way.
