Overheating?

I found my 522gw a piece of junk. I purchased it a few months ago. It overheats (very very hot) and crashes from time to time. Also parking mode doesnt work as it only records 5 or 10 seconds before the battery dies. Its been in the drawer since then, however I did decide to give it another go recently - yup same piece of junk. Avoid.

I'm concerned to read your post.
What SD card are you using please? An inappropriate or corrupted SD card cause cause excessive heat.
Do you have a rear cam plugged into your 522GW? Have you taken it inside and charged it? The battery should last for 10 minutes, but if you have repeated triggering over night, this will flatten the battery. We'd recommend using a Hard Wire Kit on a Permanent Live fuse for Parking Mode functionality with a 522GW.
