Parking Mode settings

Hi everyone,
Have had the dash cams installed and to be honest I am still wrapping my head around everything and don't feel like I really know what I am doing. Could anyone help me out with parking mode settings? It is hard wired into the car but doesn't seem to be recording while parked. What settings should I be enabling please?

Maybe you forgot to turn on the parking mode...
I have "low bit rate recording" turned on and there are no problems recording in the parking lot.
