With the latest firmware you no longer need to format large >32GB SD cards FAT32
The new firmware has full native exFAT formatting support.
This means all you need to do is format the SD car inside the camera via the touch screen menu.
64GB/128GB/256GB/512GB no problem
The Panorama S is pretty close to the Panorama G, so most of these G instructions apply and are much easier to understand than the included S booklet:
