I think i still have a walkman somewhere, but nothing to play in it though.
A metal TDK tape, well at least the all metal framed ones, well if you dropped it from some height it would kill a man, heavy suckers indeed.
I got 4 boxes of those one time, i cant recall exactly but i think it was 12 tapes in a box, cost a whole lot more than a carton of cigarettes, even with the always substantial price for those in Denmark..
So my tape collection was heavy too.

Remind me of my first big boy Bicycle, which i got when was 8 or something.
I have to admit, biker culture, any of the flavors, ii dont really get it.
Least of all the need to be obnoxious loud and sadly not only visual.
If i was brave enough to ride a motorcycle, which i am not really anymore, i would want a electric motorcycle so there was just the sound of the wind in my fiberglass hat.

When I was a little kid we used to use clothes pins to mount a baseball card or a playing card between the spokes of our bicycles to make them sound like motorbikes.
Of course, here we are in 2023 so everything is "high tech".

Yeah we did the card thing too, which is okay as we was children that ddent know any better.
In this day and age i see no reason why pretty much any motor vehicle should be allowed to be more than say 70 db, but you can buy a Italian sports car that is 120 db, which are just insane.
The limit for aftermarket exhaust here is 90 db
