Still planning out the installation, but I will update this thread with comparison videos of all my other dashcams

Had it not been for the thermal camera warning, I probably wouldn't have seen him until it was too late.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to show the visual tracking on the recorded files, so it looks kinda plain.

 
Oh wow, that's awesome/dangerous seeing the person there, and that the warning picked it up. I really need to get some videos of mine up and take some night drives.
 
Ok, so one thing I've noticed with the Pilot2 is that when I save an event using the event button, it only saves a short 30 second clip to the event folder rather than a full 5 minute clip like all of my other Vantrue cameras.

This can be frustrating cause I usually wait until the end of the week to download my daily event files from all my dashcams before editing for my YouTube channel.

30 seconds is just way too short and I end up missing out on the actual event that took place.

This forces me to download the entire clip from the normal recording folder the same day before it gets overwritten by the loop recording.

Is there a way to set it so that the entire 5 minute clip gets saved to the event file (as per all my other Vantrue cams)?
