It's interesting watching them work on the car to check right? I saw them use the wrong oil, I could see the various dispensers.
 
Yeah it is, at some points it was like they weren't sure what they were doing 🙄
 
How satisfied are you after 1 year with this power bank? I am looking at this, as I can't find Cellink Neo on sale anymore 🙁

it works well, but as i mentioned before: the Performance they mention is far off from what you get in reality

How do you mean?, Ive left mine on 7hrs and its recorded fine. I wet with it because of lifep04 tech, I didnt want lithium ion in my car, yes I know my phone, but i can throw that away quickly.
 
i have the main unit + 2 extensions .
according to the specs it should give me over 5 days with a thinkware U1000 dual
but i get about 3.5 days max

Installed one under the passenger seat of a Kia EV3, works as expected so far.
I wired it across the center console and then under the steering wheel (there doesn't seem to be a knee airbag) to a spare ACC fuse. Nice that it comes with everything needed, fuse taps and all.
 
I have Powercore plus one extension, maybe 4 years old (guessing), working fine.
 
OK, I just placed an order for the Power Core 6200LFP Plus, and a Viofo A329 2CH with 3 wire HW kit and CPL.
I'll see how long it will hold a full charge.

Maybe with some new dashcam from Viofo you will get 3.5 weeks with the same power setup.
I see under your nickname that you are using side cameras. Are them very wide angle, something like 170-180 degrees? I am asking this because I was testing two cameras on the sides, one almost 180 degrees and one 140 degrees and in my opinion the side cameras must be about 175 degrees. Normal angle side cameras are not enough.
For me, a side camera must be 170-175 degrees and to support 21:9 resolution, From 3 years at least, I stopped using 16:9 aspect ratio.

I have TWO thinkware U1000 dual
1 unit in the front with the rear cam on the side
1 unit in the back with the rear cam on the side

They are in buffered mode, meaning they are always on , but save clips only when there's movement or impact detected.
This of course uses more power, but insures the camera films from the moment something happens and not a second or two later.

In any case, 3.5 weeks is impossible with whatever camera you use

I'm also testing the Vantrue E360 cam (with rear camera)
I think if i didn't already have the Thinkwares, i would go for this one, as it gives great coverage all around the vehicle.
 
Your dual setup with Thinkware is much better than Vantrue E360. You will have image details which will not be found on E360 footage.

The only problem I find with setups like yours is that the rear camera used as side has, usually, the lens angle too small. If you will look carefully at my previous picture you will see how big is the difference of area coverage by the right picture compared to left picture.

The camera from the right can even capture at some moment the car from the front which means that at some moment you will capture the same car with the front camera but also with the side camera. Here is an example with a car captured by the front and side camera at the same time.

Can your front and side camera do the same?

In my setup, with the camera with normal lens angle there will be some moment when the opposite car will be not captured by the front or by the side car.

Side cameras must always be wide angle. If the rear camera of Thinkware U1000 is real 160 degrees it is possible that your setup to have a good coverage. If you will look above, my 180 degrees wide lens it is a little too wide, it can have a little smaller angle.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I'm considering buying this battery. Any thoughts from people that have been using it for a long time ?
 
HI Mooncake, yep it still works as it should 2 years later, we’ve had a hot summer so far in the UK and the camera and battery have been worikng fine, hitting 34c inside car at one point, my cameras record for 3 hrs when I stop driving.

I sent them a couple of questions and they answered same day and it's sunday, pretty impressive. They also sell a power plug to charge it at home which is something I can't seem to find for other batteries, at least in Europe.
One thing I don't understand is that they say Viofo parking mode will work without any extra Viofo hardwire cables but some features won't be available yet they can't tell me which.
Pretty sure most Viofo parking modes require their hardwire cables.

Bought the 6200Plus and 13400Ext in May 2024. Working fine until I had an issue in July 2025 with the 6200Plus. Looked like one or more cell died as it show 0V at the extended power connector. Contacted support, send both off to Germany at got them back repaired without cost. Working fine ever since.
So even if you run into issues, support is great!
 
Mine still going strong (Main one plus extended).
