There's nothing wrong with unplugging it but it will wear the connection over time and will eventually lead to failure. I would use the power button on the camera.I had a question about that. I have found that I do the same. I don't see much point in have the camera running in Parking Mode when the car is in the garage all night, so I just pull the power input and turn it all off. That's all right to do, isn't it? I mean, pulling the power won't hurt the camera in any way, will it?
