Probably been asked already but is the gps mount the same for the 03 as the 01

Hiya wanting to try one of these for the front thinking about putting a 0803 in the front and mounting the 0801 in the rear but the front camera is well mounted now and It would be nice not to have to use the spare sticky.

so can I put the 0803 into the 0801 mount and then use the 0803 mount for the 0801 in the rear.

Yes, but be aware the USB port on the 0801 is miniUSB while the 0803 is microUSB.

brill thanks, dont know if I should maybe go for 2 0803 cameras and use the 0801 as a Backup for the 0803 as there seem to be a lot of firmware issues.
its to replace my blackvue dr550gw

The mount in general is pretty flimsy, if you manually take off the camera often, or have it in the back with a hatchback that closes hard. It will wear out at some at some point for sure. (you'll want at least 1 backup)

I plan on mounting the rear camera onto the plastic roof lining if passable the glass is a pain in the rear end. but I may have to make a perspex or metal mount for it angled to the glass area...
