Problems updating firmware

Hello from Markham Ontario Canada
First off this is the best dash cam site on the net. Very glad to be apart of it.
I bought a Panni S for my F150 and absolutely love it. I am trying to update my S with the new 18 bit firmware and not having any luck.
I have followed the video instructions.
Blank card with 18 bit file 14 Mb in size
Press and hold Menu then Power
Then nothing happens, it just boots up like normal.
What else am I missing?

So what was causing the problem? I've updated the firmware in my Panorama about three times now and haven't ever had a problem with it not wanting to update...
