I'm pulling into a parking lot at work this afternoon and a guy is walking across the entrance. I pause to let him pass, then I enter. He got offended, thinking that I got too close to him (I think the video shows otherwise) and he wanted to fight. He followed me into the parking garage screaming at me and tried to spit on me but I got the window rolled up in time. He spit on my car three times.

When the parking lot attendant tried to throw him out he screamed at her for several minutes. They went at it pretty good. Then he went into the building to the front desk and she followed him in, telling him the whole time to leave the property. She came back out to me and told me not to go inside, he was waiting for me.

I told her to call the police and have him escorted off the property. They showed up and got rid of him, but when I talked to them they weren't interested in what I had to say and didn't want to see the video. They said it was a "personal issue."

Today was a crazy day. I have four videos to post of people doing dumb things.

This guy has too much testosterone.

There is a guy that need more cameras ;)

Dude is Fked up, he would last about 30 seconds in NYC traffic :D

Hmmmmm , I can see the pedestrians issue ...
+ The cam does lie , as the lens is some what wide angle so things look further away than they are in reality ...

I don't think it would have hurt to have waited one or two more seconds to complete the turn ... And for the pedestrian to be completely clear ...
As some one that likes to walk , I dont appreciate drivers getting too close with their lethal weapons ..

Don't forget car wash! That guy is probably getting charged with trespassing and disturbing the peace for stirring up trouble and refusing to leave. A few days in the jail with no access to booze or drugs should teach him a thing or 2.

The cops weren't interested in what I had to say. I even transferred the video from my dashcam to my cellphone to show to them but they weren't interested. If he had spit on their car he'd be beaten half to death before being hauled off to jail, but they seem to be ok with him threatening me.

That's because you aren't special. You're just a tax paying plebe, not a member of the privileged society. Duh.

He may be a local nutcase.
They may have hauled him in so often, they're running out of places to send him for 'help'.

Could be the case. Back in the '70s/'80s when I used to work in downtown Detroit we had a few of them. Basically made a lot of noise but were otherwise 'harmless'.

You didn't get close enough. Should have driven over his toes then he wouldn't be able to chase after you :p

Shame it isn't reaching his legs, 'cause he can't walk fast for s**t.

He even seemed to make a point of slowing and looking away to make the point he felt entitled to block the entrance. I despise selfish fools like that. I'd have driven faster and closer to give him a reality check.

This video is getting some attention. It picked up 1000 views on Youtube today. I purposely left off the location since I don't want this nonsense associated with where I work so I hope no one on YouTube points out where this is.

Yesterday I came across this 'pedestrian' who was busy cursing at either the Yield sign, or the bush. (Nobody else in sight)
You'll have to watch closely for the old lady in the red jacket.

I could hear her yelling something, but it doesn't really turn up in the video.

Actually I dont know the LAW in the USA ! regarding pedestrian rights ...
Here in Oz , the pedestrian OWNS the real-estate ( Road - footpath - driveway ) they are walking on ..
In other words they have right of way !

If the pedestrian is still on said real-estate and a car tries to occupy that real-estate at the same time the pedestrian is there ...
Then the Car driver has FAILED to give way to the pedestrian , and its a traffic violation ( Unlawful )
The unfortunate thing is , most car drivers are way too impatient to wait for pedestrians to clear said real-estate , again I dont know what the law is regarding such in the USA but if that was Oz , I would have pinched the driver for failing to give way .
I have seen the rich , the poor , the stupid and the so called smart as well as police fail to give way to pedestrians here in Oz ...
When clearly the pedestrian has had the right of way ( and done nothing wrong ) ... The unfortunate thing is car drivers can be seriously dangerous at the best of times , especially regarding pedestrians ...
And the sad thing is , they actually believe they have done nothing wrong ... Steel VS flesh = No contest ! And some drivers actually willfully endanger pedestrians because they can't wait 5 seconds ...

Yield may mean if you don't run them over the first time, back up, and try again.
:)
