Quick reflexes help avoid a nasty head-on collision

Nice 🙂 many ppl would have overcorrected there and as a consequence of that crash.

The traffic in the other lane is allso insane, the 2 trucks are way too close, and the guy who overtake them and force ppl to take evasive action is just insane.
 
I'm at a loss as to why the guy in front left it so late to swerve?
When I pause the vid just as he swerves, there's no cars in front - aside from the looney overtaking everything!
Unless the guy in front thought he could play a game of chicken?
 
Maybe the driver shifted his attention to his rear passenger for 2 seconds, rear passenger appears to be moving seats or something like that prior to the swerve, the car also goes 1 foot to the left at that time.
Safe following distance is 3 sec, or 4 sec for trucks. But who actually cares....not many it seems.

drafting to save fuel? who knows. lots of stupid going on in that video...
