Rear dashcam footage not being stored on memory card

I have a nextbase 512 GW front and rear. The rear footage shows on the dashcam screen but when I look at the files on the memory card, there’s only footage from the front dashcam.

As the live picture is showing on the dashcam screen, the connection to the rear cam must be fine, but I’m wondering why it’s not being stored on the memory card ?

Also the recordings on the memory card (from the front dashcam only) show both high and low resolution. Is there anyway to turn off the low resolution?

Thanks for your post. Please could you send us some screenshots showing the file lists to support@nextbase.com?

How often have you been formatting the card please? If you then format, do you then see rear camera images please?

Recording both high and low resolution files is called Dual Files. you can turn this off by:
1. Turn the dashcam on
2. Stop it recording.
3. Press the MENU button once to enter Video Menu
4. Scroll down to Dual Files. Select this, and then turn it to 'OFF'.
