Received 0803 today!

Hello Everyone.

I have been a silent stalker reading all the posts lol. I purchased mine from E-prance on Amazon last night. It has no internal memory and no gps. https://www.amazon.com/gp/B00JIPR31C
A few questions if I may.

It arrived next day and came with 20140507V1 FW. I have it set at 1296 and super fine. I see that it is kind of grainy in all light conditions. Think it might be super fine?. Running a Sandisk class 10 32gb. I just returned the G1W which was super sharp. I came from an old i1000. I needed something small as my rain sensor on my 2012 Ford focus was limiting my options with the G1W

Can I add the gps logger mount or the camera needs internal hardware? I have a setting in the menu screen to turn on GPS on/off?

Hmm so the only hardware concern was the internal memory? GPS is hardcoded in the logger mount not the DVR?

The old Mini 0801 GPS mount is compatible with the new Mini 0803. (same mount)

Thanks. I think I screwed up and did not realize that since it does not have internal memory I cannot add the optional gps logger mount.

Thanks for all. I tried every conceivable setting and the camera basically stinks. Grainy and not sharp. I am going to keep my G1W big as it is. That chipset is so much better in my opinion. The clarity is astonishing for a $60 camera. UNLESS someone thinks with the latest firmware the 0801 is better? I like that I can remove it especially in the Florida sun. There is no quick release for the G1W. Appreciate all the comments.
