Remove the DATE AND TIME STAMP

Bought the 70MAI OMNI 4K dascham, any software to REMOVE the DATE and TIME STAMP?

You should be able to do that in the settings ?

I generally use those + speed, but i am sure you can also have them off.
 
Pretty much any video editing software would let you crop off the bottom edge of the image, or cover the text with a rectangle of black.
 
I use the front and back for long video drives on my channel...its work intensive and distorts the video

As you may have already found there is no option to disable the time and date stamp using the latest released 70mai app.

1. ask 70mai to add that option
2. use ffmpeg to crop the video/s
3. Use a program called handbrake to crop the video.

What about the AUDIO too..it sounds very terrible...cannot record outside sounds very clearly...there are breakages and distortions...as someone coming from a800s...this omni 4k was suppossed to be an upgrade
 
If you can upload a sample, we can check if it is unusually bad / give ideas.

I asked them and they said the engineers cannot remove the 'date and time stamps' because it is hard coded in the software, can you imagine...?

I wonder if they misunderstood the question?
 
I don't own this product...but that is nonsense. If the engineer can put the date and time in, then the engineer can remove the date and time.

It is possible that they don't want to modify the app to remove Date and Time, as well as the firmware code if they are using an outside software house and would have to pay for the new code.
