Folders and files:
SD card has DCIM folder where video files start with MOVI and pictures start with PICT.
No date/time on the file names.
CAR is probably for car mode with loop files but I just tested it in default settings so the files are under VIDEO folder.
Files have date/time so easy to find particular file.

Overall VBR for 1080p 30fps is 28.6 mbps with Video at 42.5 mbps and audio 512kbps. (Overall bit rate is less than video bit rate... weird).

Video sample: Video resolution is not great.
Audio is okay except it has some noise like something is knocking on it at frequent interval.

Here are sample videos of me waking in the park:

Hello!
This camera is advertised as a dash camera also. It has auto power/recording when you start the engine?
Or at least can record while is charging from the car socket?

I don't know how it can be used as dashcam if it have IR LEDs. The video codec is just M-JPEG. I consider it is a very poor camera.

I want it for interior of my work van. I'm looking for something small, cheap and i think some IR LEDs would be nice for pitch dark situations.
But of course, i don't want to start it or stop it manually every time.

Oh, for inside recording should be OK. Will be nice if the illuminated IR area will be not just a spot like a flashlight but a bigger area inside car.
I hope @Sunny will tell us if the camera is starting and stopping recording when the engine starts.

enjoy,
Mtz
