Rexing V1 2.7" LCD 1080p Slanted/Angled/Wedge DashCam Car DVR Blackbox Review

Beautiful day today, rain followed by sunshine followed by rain and so on...:
I don't see any wobble in the video due to loose mount but that needs to be fixed little better.

1 sec overlap at 31 seconds between two files...

Event/incident files are saved in a subfolder called 'RO' with 'RA' attributes:

This one looks pretty good dashcam. I wonder, why it isn't getting enough love as Mobius or Minis. Any idea?

Not sure, maybe because it's new brand but I'd take V1 over mini 0806 any day and twice on Sunday.

It may be price-competitive in the US, however, in the UK it's available only from eBay at £93 ($141), which is expensive relative to the similar-looking & much better known A118.

That v1 link is sold by rexing so should be fine.
0806 does have better video due to ambarella chip but it's not reliable so I don't suggest it even if it is cheaper.
0806 is not cheaper, expensive actually by a dime but still.
@Sunny Just curious, if 0806 video is unreliable, why 0806 or Minis in general are discussed so much on this board. Curious abt your opinion.

I meant even if it were cheaper.
0806 is popular due to nice small discrete design with built in gps.
It's discussed a lot but if you look closer, it's probably the one with the most issue threads.

Last question before I place an order for this one. Is there any option to save the current video clip?

Yes, the middle OK button with small triangle is event button when it's recording.

Once you get it, check if the mount is snug or not like the mount/dismount video I have above.
If it's loose, just add few strips of tape or thin velcro so it doesn't wobble.

Could someone who owns this tell me if it has true Parking Mode capability.
I know Motion Detection can be selected from the menu, but is it sensitive enough.
I own the B40/A118 (hard wired to low voltage cut off) which also has this menu selection but the movement detection is useless. It is rarely triggered by someone walking past.

motion detect is really only workable for parking mode if it pre buffers all recording, not too many cameras do that
