After reading the comments on this forum I have bought an F750 + rear camera package and am preparing to install. For the front camera I bought this cable but am now sending it back because it is power-only. For the rear camera I bought this cable which is excellent because it has all 5 wires connected. I now have zero confidence in any cables from China as they look exactly like the one which didn't work. There is a link in the 'review' thread to a cable which looks exactly the same and is 99p including postage from China. I can't even be bothered to buy one and wait several weeks for it because I can't believe that it will work. Can anyone recommend a source for a cable which has all 5 cores connected?

As a fall-back I have ordered another one of the Motorola cables to use on the front camera. Although it is such that the cable is angled towards the windscreen, it is short enough that it can be turned so that the female end is on top of the camera and then I can connect it to the long Thinkware cable which can be run in that gap between the camera and the mount and then into the headliner. The only downside is that the cable will be visible from outside but I guess that's no big deal. I am sick of Googling to find the correct angled cable and am ready to give up but thought I'd try one last time by posting this.

Here's hoping...

I have only Left-angled and Down-direction MicroUSB video leads / adaptors we use for Street Guardian SGZC12RC video cable extension. Unfortunately don't have Right-angled MicroUSB.

What do you mean 'only'? The left-angled one is what I need. I have placed an order. I guess there's still a risk as you state that not all wires are connected, but I hope there's a good chance that if it works with your cameras it'll work with the Thinkware. Thanks a lot for your post!

OK, I thought you are looking for "right-angled".
Order received. Going to dispatch tomorrow.
Those adapters has been used for SGZC12RC 1080p video cable extension and no complaints so far. It took me few month via test'n'try to source correct working double-shielded cables.
No worries with "risks". If in some case it will not work for you, I will sort this out instantly.

Thanks Niko. BTW from what I know, 'right-angled' just means 90 degrees, at least that's the case in mathematics. I don't think there really is such a thing as 'left-angled' except for where it has been used in exactly this situation to differentiate orientation. You might want to make a note of the Motorola SKN6258A cable which is in the other orientation. It works fine for my rear camera. It's only 80mm long but that seems enough.

Yeah, for standard stereo plug we may call it "right/left-angled", but for MicroUSB plug "they" call it 90-degree: Left-angled, Right-angled, Down-angled, ( Front-angled I haven't seen yet ), - all depends to which side plug-head is facing in relation to bottom vs top part of microUSB port. Anyway, I have made macro-photos in my listings and I am glad you were able to get what you need.

Oh indeed - your website is excellent - just what is needed for a good online shopping experience 🙂

Thanks. Still some "polishing" need to be done, but I do it step by step.
