SatNav and DashCam combinations

I'm looking at investing in a single device Satnav and DashCam combination in the near future and I know Mio do a combo 5107 LM but I've heard very little about them. Has anyone on here got one?

FWIW, I recently came across a rather unusual dashboard device on DX that sports a 7 inch Android 4.4.2 tablet PC - GPS/SatNav - dash cam - radar detector - WiFi - FM transmitter (and cheese slicer), all in one unit. Not quite sure what to make of such a Frankensteined together product but you can check it out further HERE.

Keep in mind the ideal place to mount a GPS and the ideal place to mount a dashcam are two different places

GPS typically gets taken off the window when parking, are you going to put back every time?

Same here, but it seem if you have your gadgets at the bottom of the windscreen its okay here, and to me that seem wise as down there it will just obscure the hood of your car witch is all that can be seen down there anyway.
