Saving a Draft and finding it later. How do you do that? Does it Work?

I have tried to use this feature a number of times.

I am wondering am I doing something wrong as I can't find the drafts that I have created when I come back to my computer.
@DashCamMan (only tagged as I mentioned him) suggested searching in the area I was posting but I haven't had any luck with that suggestion.

I had recently spent a lot of time updating one of my reviews to accidentally close the tab not knowing what I now know that you can get the tab back sometimes with CTRL + SHFT + T sometimes.

I have even fossicked through my cache section on my computer but couldn't find any part of the updated post. Needless to say I lost all that work.
Even used ChromeCacheView by Nirsoft.

Now it has happened again but this time I had made sure I was saving drafts but I can't find it.

The heading was unique as it is a new model of dashcam but still no luck.

Does the draft save work?
Can I expect to come back to the draft another day and continue?

What do others do if they have to leave the computer when part way through writing something?

I have also tried to create the entire review on my computer and transplant it across but I usually find the photos don't come across and the layout changes.
I tried using html code but that also didn't work for me.

How do other members write up their reviews and post them? Is there something I am missing that is obvious to others?
Needless to say but I am going to, I get frustrated trying to post a clean review without wasting a hughe amount of time.
