Saving Frames in Registrator Viewer

Can anyone advise me how to save a frame with decent quality in Reg Viewer? I have tried, and the frame I save always looks worse than the frame in Reg Viewer, that I am saving. I have changed between both EVR and VMR and it doesn't seem to make much difference at all. I must be doing something wrong, because I have seen some great stills in this forum :)

Now, can anyone tell me how to change the folder VLC saves to, if there is a way?
