screen turning on

During this mornings drive the screen turned on all on it's own. There is nothing noticable in the video and it was not protected, no seconds lost. So not a problem but I have not seen this before and I wonder why this would happen.

Any thoughts?

Someone reported this several months ago, I thought the latest firmware resolved this. Which firmware version are you running now?

the screen comes on when the G-Sensor is triggered, how strong the bump is determines if that will cause a file save or not, will be changing that behavior in the next firmware version, it was changed previously but that coincided with the G-Sensor calibration being way off so it had to be set back to the previous way in the interim as the G-Sensor accuracy was not good

That explains something, mine was set at "Low sensitivity"

the sensitivity setting just determines at what point it should save a file, the screen will come on even if it was too low to cause a save, we'll adjust that in the next firmware
