SD Card Format

Hi

I have bought a cheap china dashcam (see link below) and was wondering if someone could advise about SD Cards. I had a 2GB one lying around, put this in and formatted it using the on screen setup and it records for 5 seconds and then resets the camera. It then said on the screen Card too slow or words to that effect.
So I went out and bought a Class 10 32GB one, this shows us as Card Error, any ideas if I should format the card using the PC first and what settings should I use, Fat32, exFat, NTFS?
Or could it be a faulty unit? The unit seems fine, I can turn it on and access the menus etc?

Too slow...too fast...try a name brand Class 4 16Gig card if in-camera formatting of the Class 10 32 Gig doesn't work.
Fat32 is what you need if you use the PC to format, forget the others.

Make sure that you are using the official SD Formatter if you are using the PC. www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

Got a Class 4 8GB today and works perfectly! Get around 2hrs of footage before it loops around! Thanks!
