SD Cards are rising in cost / FAKE SD card sales will RISE on Amazon

I have been using this **Endurance microSDXC Card** (I consider it the best value for money) in 2 dash cams for at least 2 years now without any problems. But I format the cards at least every week.

Looks like it's going to be financially advantageous to tear apart the center stack/console in my car to locate the 512GB card that fell down in there last summer. 😉

Today I ordered this standard SD card from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/B09X7FXHVJ
It's the exact same brand/type as the micro-SD card that works with the A329S 3ch, except this is a 128GB card, not a 256GB one like the microSD.
Hopefully, I'll receive it tomorrow and I will let you know if the camera recognizes it.
I also order couple of cheap card readers just in case.
Here's a video I recorded to show how the Viofo A329S 3CH dashcam works with a standard SD card or a micro-SD card installed remotely via the dashcam's SSD port.
At the time of this posting, the price difference between a standard 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro card and a micro-SD Extrime Pro card is about $4 ($30 for the standard card versus $34 for the micro-SD card).

And here's a card reader that works with standard SD cards:

@GPak ... very interesting observation about the dual slot SD/microSDXC behaviour. I had not thought about the fact that the A329 would, by default, ID the MicroSDXC card and not the SD card.

Excellent video and explanation. Thank you!

Well I thought I'd check if SD card prices stabilized.

Nope

The first thing I did when I got my two 512 gb cards was to deep format them.
They checked out.
Did I take away some of their life?
