Really? I was using a pin tool designed for this purpose. I could feel the switch being made. Others here have reported the same experience. Can you explain please why some are getting reset settings with a firmware upgrade and others are not? Do you have an upgrade path showing the versions?What item do you use to press it? You may have not pricked the hole with enough strength.Anyway, it is better to use the other two methods to reset it.
Why is one method preferred over another and what is the order of preference?
Since I was not able to wifi connect, the reason for wanting to reset, the app reset method was not available.
