Street Guardian’s reputation for quality and AAA+++ after sale customer support is deserved. How good ? I had emailed a question on a Sunday not expecting a reply until during the week. But to my surprise I not only had one, but two responses from two different reps at SG within the hour. Incredible customer service.
Im very impressed with this kit. It comes with everything, I also got the second rear cam and will show how I installed in my 17’ Forester that has a tailgate.
All the trim pieces pop off and back on very easy. Use a coat hanger to fish the cable through.

A nice clean, non binding ( in the door hinge) install.

Nice. Was thinking of using a zip tie but coat hanger would be a backup if it doesn't work. You didn't have to use any soap or lubricant?

Ah! Good question.
To snake it through the protective rubber boot which is a little tight, I did use a zip tye and I lubed the cable with dielectric grease. Came through with little effort. All the rest I made use of the wire coat hanger.
Overall a pretty quick and easy job.
