@sydney2218 first of all I want to thank you for taking the time to tutor and educate an old man trying to keep up with technology.
Here is what I've found (thanks to you).
Both the Koloreyes Ver 1.6.2 and their latest version of the program which installs as GoPro VR Player Ver 2.2 yield the same results when viewing the 360 videos.
I was expecting a much different result, and I'll try to explain my expectations.
When I view the following SJ360 video, I can (with a lot of fiddling around) get the desired portion of the video centered on my monitor and view a few frames before the action moves on to another part of the video which requires re-adjusting the view.

When I view the following GEAR360 video (which was stitched as it was copied from the camera) the movement around the video is MUCH easier.

Since the SJ360 video can be viewed on my android device in much the same manner as the GEAR360 video on my PC, I'm thinking that there should be a software program for the PC which will do this.
I hope this makes sense, and demonstrates my expectations and desires.

Update. I just tried the 360Fly Director program, and it (in my opinion) does much better with the SJ360 videos.
