So my lipo battery died in the dashcam due to the heat on a tropical country. Should I get a super capacitor to replace the battery, I dont want to change to another lipo and it fail again in 1 year. Has anyone tried changing the dashcam to power with super capacitors?

unless the firmware is adjusted to suit you will have reliability issues, the charging circuit is unlikely to support it correctly either
