Tesla autopilot avoids a merging idiot in a pickup

Yeah but planes don't have to deal with other planes merging into their flight path, cutting each other off, braking in front of them or running "red lights". 😉

O they are going to stack planes much closer than they are now in the future, air controllers are probably also going to be automated, and TBH i don't know how those guys keep up as it is now.
And many of the recent crashes in airplanes have actually been due to auto pilots or auto pilots fighting with human pilots over who is in charge of the airplane.
