Thinkware cloud keeps logging out

I’m currently running the U1000 connected to my hotspot and I have to keep logging into the app on my iPhone but not on my iPad. The app is up to date

There don't seem to be any clues in the text that would help solve the problem.

The language is rather poor, with an odd use of capital letters, but I think that is irrelevant, unless there really is something named "Recently Version App", which you must use? More likely they mean that you must use a recent version of their mobile app.

The only suggestion I have is that maybe the app is getting disconnected by something like Apple CarPlay which is used on the phone but not on the tablet. That would only happen if using the app in the car.

Maybe removing the app from the phone and reinstalling would help?

I don't have a Thinkware dashcam, so don't know how it works, presumably this is a login to the Thinkware cloud rather than the app, but why would the phone forget the login details? Maybe there is a security setting to do so that is enabled.

Have you tried some of these workarounds?

1. Reinstalling the app and making sure to allow all the permissions, including local network access, location
2. Disable any CarPlay or Android auto

Only on my iPhone I was having this problem, my iPad is fine. So I decided to log out of the app on the iPad thinking maybe it’s an issue being logged into 2 devices although it’s been working for years. Now the iPad is doing the same thing.

I give up
 
Giving up is the only way to ensure failure.
 
Well I did everything I could think of including factory resetting my iPhone and doing a clean install.
