Hello,
Been looking for a dual dashcam for mounting behind windscreen and above number plate.
I've come across these 2 dashcams which interest me.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322175173594
and

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/262560740689
First one is Toguard Bigeye 4" Dual
AR 0330
Alcor Micro AU H.264

Second one is Dome G9WB 3" Dual
AR 0330
Allwinner V3

I am just looking for one with good video quality, able to record both cameras while reverse in full screen display, and reversing lines on camera. Other extra features not really care for.

G9WB has a different rear camera then the original one it sells for judging by pictures i've seen don't know why. G9WB also has plate recognition which someone could enlighten me what is this good for?

I think both has same video quality from same sensor but would the processors listed play a role in this?

I would not touch anything that was not "certified" for the Aussie summer, heat related focus shifting is pretty common on low price cameras.

And i would not pay too much attention to Amazon or ebay reviews.

Just bumping an old thread to say I've bought one of those Toguard dash cams under Accfly branding.
I know it's a low-end camera, but I just wanted a system with a waterproof external rear camera at a reasonable price, and actually getting one was more important than holding out to get a great one.
It came up on Amazon UK on offer at £41. I had been tempted by a Thinkware F770 which is far nicer, but also far pricier at £249! (And not external camera?)
So far I'm mostly happy with it, though I've yet to install and test it properly.
Front image quality seems OK, but rear is only 720P and focus is set really close. I don't know if it can be adjusted.
But the important thing is I can now record what's going on behind me. I can also get a rear-view on the 4" display at any time, very useful in a van with no back windows.

It's awkward to place because it's so big, I put it where I used to have my sat nav (where rear view mirror usually is.)
It's awkward to take down too because the screen mount sucker screws into it. I hope nobody mistakes it for a smart phone if I leave it mounted. Maybe I'll come up with an alternative mount.
