Tripod Mount to small?

Hi guys,
i just tried to mount the yi on several tripod heads and the screw will simply not go deep enough
to tighten the cam to the quick release plate. same with my cheap selfie stick.

can anyone confirm this issue? its not a big deal as there are a lot of go pro adapter you can use
but makes the case tripod mount kinda useless.

Get a piece of leather or rubber sheet, make a hole in it and put it over the tripod screw, then you wont need to screw it so far in to get it tight.
