U1000 Radar availability: Help please.

In your current set up yes as from a Cigarette Lighter connection Parking mode doesn't operate and the Radar only works in Parking Mode.

You just need this cable - https://thinkwaredashcam.store/product/hardwiring-cable/

Connect Yellow to a Permanent Power from the Cellink (The centre pin of the Cigar Socket). Red wire to an Ignition on the vehicle (You almost certainly have an Ignition Supply going into the Cellink already so could join to that) and an earth to the Body of the car or the Cellink (Outside section of Cigar Socket)
 
basically if i piggyback the hardwire it off the 12 volt lighter socket the radar will work, (y)(y)(y)
please confirm before i go ahead and do this,

this is the frimware im running on my u1000,
dose this look right for uk so i can pick up speed cameras, :unsure::unsure::ROFLMAO:

sounds a bit odd it all worke okay on my thinkware f800 pro,
maybe i should have brought a q800 instead of a u1000 then :unsure: :unsure: :unsure:
