U3000 - BAT and EXT ports are for what?

Hello everyone,

1. can someone tell me what the EXT and BAT jacks are for?
2. The rear camera is connected to V-IN (I assume so) and then DC-IN is connected to the 12V power supply?
3. Is that BAT for "Optional Accessory iVolt Xtra Battery"?
4. Is it possible to connect another external camera to "EXT"?

The BAT port is for their iVolt Xtra battery pack. That is a data communication port and it will allow the dashcam to give spoken audio announcements regarding battery status like charge level.

Thank you for your answer, but the "EXT" is still a mystery as it isn't documented in the manual either.

I asked Thinkware (which is very competent) and got the following answer:

The EXT port is to connect a separate GPS antenna, which is useful in cases where there is a heat reflective film or heated front windscreen that may screen the GPS signal from the camera.
