Ucam app not displaying cam view

So I just upgraded from my B1W to the B4K. I do have the barrel rear cam installed as well

Installed Ucam app on my iPhone and it is recording and saving data, but when I open the app for live view, it’s only showing a black screen with a twirling circle in the center. It does say it is recording. The cam is hard wired and I have a new 128 GB Samsung Pro Endurance card in it.

Any ideas?

Connect to the dashcam's WiFi signal in the phone's settings menu before opening the app. That's what did the trick for me.
