Interesting camera

Comes with a built in LTE Sim, so no need for an external module as well as a plug-n-play OBD2 DLC port with a switchable LVC.

I'm kinda torn on the wiring kit as it may be an issue for some DLC ports that have covers (like my 97 Land Cruiser), but it sure made installation on my 2016 Sienna super easy.

App works great and instantly connects for a live view from anywhere.

A bit sensative as it sends me texts everytime I hit a pothole (which is quite often here in NY)

I'll be uploading worthwhile events and comparing the footage with my other dashcams, so stay tuned.

Got my unit safely thru post. Having opened up and tried to register, after 12 attempts I gave up. Verification code will simple not let me go further.
Any help gladly recieved
Decking (in th UK)

Okay we have now managed that task, so my next problem is APT info, where the blazers do you find that. I’m by no means stupid but at 78, I’m not that tech savvy. I’m already feeling that this unit is not old age friendly.

Update. After 2.5 hours we finally have a working unit. Why the difficulty in registration was a mystery, finally after a number of resets we got there.
Instruction manual could do with being printed larger, I struggled and needed a magnifying glass in the end. Tomorrow we’ll drop it into the motor and see how easy that is.
Do far 7/10 for set up
Only 4/10 for printed matter.

Installation, simple easy guide. A word of caution, to ensure maximum adhesion of the electrostatic film, the screen must be clean, a wipe with white spirit and dried and don’t touch the glass side, smooth on with a credit card go expel all air bubbles. The adhesive pad could quite easily be put on upside down. I suggest mark it an arrow which will show once the backing paper is removed.
The trim tool I found to be weak and it broke quite easily, use with care or have a more robust standby. Fitting the cable was a piece of cake . The ODB2 connection was simple.
More to follow.

Like wise on OBD2 plug. My intended vehicle was the Citroen PicassoC3. The plug is hidden inside the glove box under a covered fuze board, once installed I can neither refit the cover or close the glove box which is the dropdown style. I have asked if they have a conventional power lead but yet no response.

I didn't have any issues registering (US)

Camera worked great while under the trial period sending me instant texts for events.

As said before, a little too sensitive as my phone would blow up with notifications for every pothole or when I cranked up my stereo and the bass hit (kindof annoying)

Unfortunately, it doesn't have an open Sim card slot and uses an internal E-Sim (odd cause all the documentation shows an open slot), so you'll be tied down to Lamtto's own subsciption plan if you choose to continue with the LTE.

The app pretty much becomes usless without the subsciption and to view any footage, you'll have to rely on the sd card only.

An issue I have is that I can't seem to find any interior footage when using the sd card on my laptop.

I was able to pull the interior footage on the app (while still under the trial period), but I was only able to pull the front camera footage directly from the sd card.

I do like the camera design and the footage is clean day and night, but would like to see more detailed options in the app (with or without the use of LTE)

Having raised the point that I’m still showing zero connection, I’m now getting notifications to subscribe .
