Unknown brand, possibly Chinese, Need Manual

Hi there,

I have an unknown - possibly Chinese - dash cam and I am transferring it to a new car. I've noticed that the timestamp has changed the date/time settings to the wrong date & time. Unfortunately I have lost or mislaid the instruction manual. I have searched the internet, but the images of this particular cam show different buttons appear to have different menu items. I have attached an image of the rear of the cam with buttons the same as mine, but unfortunately my antivirus software advises not to "go there".

Would someone be able to help me here please, by looking at the attachment. It has to be that particular arrangement of the 4 buttons. If any one can supply me with a copy of the setup instructions or a safe link to same, it would be most appreciated.

As I don't know if I'm allowed to attach images of the cam, I will do my best to describe the buttons. The first button has a an UP triangle and another symbol I'm not sure of separated by / , the second button is MENU and the third button is MODE with RED button between them that says OK, and the fourth button has a "sunburst" symbol and a DOWN triangle separated by / . If any one can supply me with a copy of the setup instructions or a safe link to same, it would be most appreciated.

I don't see how anyone can provide you with instructions or a link to an unknown generic Chinese camera where you don't even provide a brand name or image of the camera and only provide a description of buttons that could match dozens or perhaps hundreds of other generic cameras out there in the marketplace.

The fact is that virtually all dash cam menus operate more or less in a similar manner. I would suggest spending some time exploring the menu tree on the camera and trying different settings until you figure out the available options. It's not that complicated and shouldn't be that hard, especially because you already know you are looking for the date and time settings. Give it a try.

BTW, Yes, you are allowed to attach images of the camera. Members do this all the time here on the forum.
