I have an unusual question and this can apply to all Viofo cams using USB C.
Can I use a USB-C extension cable or hub for the VS1? Why? Instead of unplugging USB-C from the VS1 I want to have a USB-C extender or hub plugged into the VS1. Then if I want to run the VS1, I plug the OEM USB-C cable into the USB-C extension cable or hub. Is this doable?
Will it have to be USB-C 2.0? It will have to be a USB-C for power and not for data transfer. What about amp ratings etc.?
edit. I found this thread on reddir.
usb-c to usb-c workable?
Thinking about this usb-c to usb-c by Ugreen. A small extension cable or small hub is preferred.
