Hi all,
Do you know which type C cable is compatible to replace the cable connecting 4G kit with the dashcam?

I have tried a USB 3.1 gen 2 10 Gbps cable, and a USB 3.2 gen 2 20 Gbps cable - both work as power cable only and remote surveillance doesn't work. Tried unbind and rebind 4G kit - successful. But 4G testing failed - the cam didn't recognize the existence of a functional 4G kit. Although the 4G kit status light was green - it couldn't start the cam remotely.

It is very strange, but it is described here that USB 3.2 gen 2*2 is suitable. And USB 3.1 is not suitable. In addition, there is a video confirming this. Try to find exactly the same cable:

Yeah, it's weird. People confirmed usb 3.1 gen 2 and 3.2 gen 2x2 cables work. I tried both, from different sellers, and none worked for me.
Ordered another one. Will see.

Earlier, I bought a male-to-male 3m 3.1 gen 2 cable and a 25cm male-to-male 3.2 gen 2x2 cable to replace the original 4G kit cable. Both didn't work for remote surveillance; they only worked for parking monitors like a power-only kit.

Now, I tested another option: buying a 3.1 gen 2 cable extender (male-to-female) from the same brand and seller to extend the length of the original cable. Everything works okay. It seems to me that a standard 3.1 gen 2 cable lacks something in the original cable, so using it as a cable extender, keeping the original cable in the line, can work for my case.
