I am wanting to use a dash-cam to to take videos of the workings of a potato harvester.

Once its done a day's videoing I want that transfer that to the cloud for count analysis.

I have got the idea to work but my old dash-cam will not record any GPS because it said it was not moving at below 5 km/hr which is the speed the potato harvester is working at.

Any suggestions?

I don't know if i can help but am interested in what you are wanting to do.

Is the potato counting done by watching the videos?
Or via smart software?

Can you expand on what you're wanting to achieve?

On Viofo dashcams if the speed is under 8km/h, the camera enters in parking mode and keeps recording. You can set the parking mode as low bitrate or time-lapse. You will need a hardwire kit for this. So even the machine is stopped and engine turned off. the camera will still record.
Also the Viofo have a time-lapse mode in the normal driving mode. If the videos are long, you can chose the time-lapse mode to save space and time for watching the whole day of working

But if you want some special features like counting something, you better look for a CCTV camera which can offer a software which is doing what you want. They all have sd card slot.
