I don't know if it's a stupid question or not, and I tried to search internet and the forum to see if anyone has asked this before, but couldn't find any topic.

I recently purchased and installed A329T for my car from the 12v socket (not hardwired, so works only when driving). My question is, is it possible to buy an additional cabin camera, and use different SD cards so that I can use telephoto while driving and cabin camera when parking, by just switching camera cables and microSD? I think cabin camera might be useful for parking mode and I might use a battery pack for parking mode.

Welcome to the forum.

You can use the Cabin Camera instead of the Telephoto Camera.
However, the Fisheye effect may not be available.

I am not sure the coax connectors are robust enough for being unplugged and plugged back in once or twice a day.

Instead of buying a cabin camera and switching the coax cables, microSD card and power cable each time you start and finish parking, you might be better to buy a single channel camera like the A119 Mini and plug it into the battery pack when you park.

Thanks for the confirmation, Fisheye effect might not be needed for my car, so it wouldn't be a problem I believe.

Thanks for pointing out the durability of the cable ports, that might be true that after many plugging/unplugging of cable, ports might not work properly.

How should I use a single channel camera? Do you suggest using A329T for front and rear cam, and A119 mini as cabin? I couldn't image how this should work for my use case.

You can use the A329TC model = Front, Telephoto, Fisheye.
The single-channel model can be installed on the rear window.
Personally, I use the VS1 and WM1 on the rear windows of my cars.

So, you are suggesting to use Front camera of A119 mini to view inside of the car by installing it to the rear windows. Did I understand it correctly? I think camera of the VS1 is more flexible to arrange the angle, while the A119 mini's camera rotation is very limited and it may not give the desired result.

This was my original setup, but I now have replaced the VS1 in the rear with my original A329 main unit as I preferred the better quality video. Not suggesting anyone runs out to purchase another cam--I already had the A329 when I upgraded to the A329TC. I sold the VS1 to a friend.

Yes, depending on the vehicle, the VS1 or other similarly configured cam may provide more flexibility for getting it correctly angled. In my vehicle, I had to mount the VS1 on the edge of my headliner as my back glass is too steeply angled for it to work there. The A329 works on the glass with the OEM GPS mount with no additional wedge/adapter.

You misunderstood me.
My VS1 captures what's happening behind the car. It replaces the A329 rear camera.
The A329TC works with both the telephoto and fisheye cameras.
