Step 1: Format the dashcam

Step 2: Go to the website to download the main camera’s firmware and rear camera’s firmware.

Step 3: After download the rear camera’s firmware and main camera’s firmware, them drag them to your microSD card. You can use the card rear to plug it to the PC or just connect the dashcam to the computer.

Step 4: Becasue we are using the card reader, so we need to take out the microSD card then insert to the dashcam. If you connect the dashcam to PC, then just unplug it and then move on to the step 5.

Step 5: Plug the camera to a power charger (not computer), or press the power button;
Step 6:The camera will auto upgrade, and it will take about 30 secs to 1 min, during this time, the camera will not turn on and will not respond to any button or operation;

Step 7: Once the dash cam is upgraded successfully, it will turn on and work.

Step 8: Please check the version of your device now (go to the System Setup menu and turn to the Version) and see if it is E3_VT-EBL051 If it is, then the camera has been upgraded successfully.

Step 9: Format the microSD card when the update has been completed.

Nice sharing. The new version E3_VT-EBL051 fixed the speed showing issue and will offer you a better user experience.
