Vantrue N4 Pro Parking mode Possibly defective hardwire kit issue

I purchase the Vantrue N4 Pro a few months ago with the hardwire kit, but I think the kit is probably defective for setting parking mode. I set the voltage to 12v on the hardwire kit and set parking mode to motion and was working fine for a few months. However, recording never last more than 2 hours and until recently power cuts off within 5mins. I thought it was my battery being low, so I ended up charging the battery overnight. Drove the car for a bit and test the parking mode, still cuts off around the 5 min mark. My battery is probably a year old and still healthily displaying 14.36v.

I'm not sure if it's related to FW: N4P_VT-EDK201 since it was updated 2 weeks ago.

Anyone else have this issue?

That 14,3 V it's with engine on and it's irrelevant because it is charged by car alternator.
You must do the measurements with engine off for a period of time.

I actually measured the car when it was off and left it alone for over 14hours, It's still showing 14.3v.

What car do you have? This number it's impossible and ridiculous for a normal 12V battery with engine off.

2024 Acura Integra Type S.. I assume that as well normally it will show 14volts when the car is on since the alternator is charging it but that's when I had older car so not sure if something different with these newer cars. The interior fuse voltage measure roughly 12.1v so I assume it's correct.

Sorry my mistake.. I was using some cheap probe with a voltage reading but it was throwing the wrong reading. Took out my multimeter and with the engine off, proble the constant power which is showing around 14v as well. That should be plenty of power left on the battery to keep the camera still powered on.

As mentioned, I'm not sure if it's related to the firmware update since it started to act weird afterwards

OMG, I guess parking mode was working. I was planning to see if I can redo the firmware update and upon checking the memory card, I see a full list of Parking mode recordings. I'm not sure if they changed something with firmware update since about 5mins the screen shuts off with no LED blinking lights indicating some recording. I was assuming the camera was powering off since I saw the boot screen.

Hello, the LED light may have been turned off accidentally. You can turn it back on using the dash cam. Please go to Record Setup and select REC Status Light, then choose On. Once enabled, the dash cam's LED light will blink while it is recording.
