@Jeff_Vantrue Will the cable to the IR camera be long enough so the lens can site in the grill of the car?
The grill on my car could allow it to sit just inside of the grill to prevent damage from various items providing of course it doesn't interfere with its function.

The cable connecting the IR camera to the main unit is 5 meters long, and the cable at the camera end is 0.5 meters.

The reduction is size will make it much easier to be placed in the grill.

Does the units head have video out?
Could it be connected to the stereo head unit to show the road on a larger screen?

Seems Vantrue has given some early test units out...... I was told this wouldn't be happening immediately, but apparently some people have gotten them. See Link Here:

The P2 supports the Vantrue app via Wi-Fi. If your car already has CarPlay, you can map the Vantrue app to your car's screen and control the P2 through that. However, we don’t recommend this approach at the moment, as the Vantrue app isn’t fully optimized for all car displays, which might lead to incomplete or inconsistent display.

The smaller camera unit might be able to go in the front grill, but the gaps there are not very tall, i will have to take a measurement tomorrow, THX for putting up the measurements.
