I wanted to write a few words about this device.
I have had it since July 2024. During this time, it has started more than ten cars. Although not often, this function is in demand.
Well, it has charged phones, smartphones and iPhones so many times that it is impossible to count.
No changes in operation or capacity have been noticed yet.
It was supposed to be used as a power source for a video recorder in a parking lot.
But the trick failed.
JS1 supplies power to any device connected to it for 4 hours and then turns off. And...

I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
What I really like about it is the ability to simultaneously discharge and charge the battery. If the internet is correct.

Is this a lithium ion phosphate battery, I thought it wasn't?

Wouldn't it not be so safe to power a dashcam in parking mode, even though it supports pass through charging ?

It is technically possible to charge and discharge the JS3 at the same time. However,
we do not recommend doing so, as it may affect performance and long-term battery health.

So you are saying it's safe for a dashcam to use in parking mode? Even though it isn't lithium iron phosphate battery technology?

But vantrue recommends that you don't do so.
