Can someone recommend a video editor that is easy to use and cheap or free. Looking to make some files shorter and maybe stitch together?

Well I downloaded Registrator Viewer but can't get it to load my Mov files?

I will download windows movie maker and see if I have better luck. Thanks

ffmpeg is another free option. It has a lot of options for converting to different formats and sizes, creating clips, combining clips, etc. However, it is a command line tool, and does take some reading over the help file to pick out which options you want to use. So I don't know if that still falls within your definition of "easy". A program with a GUI is probably easier to start using right away. And a command line tool might be a bit more manual work, but the overall process is simple once you get a workflow going.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I will check them out and see how they work for me. Right now I don't need to do much as this is all new to me.

Welcome to my gang. Really appreciate all experts here for helping us out.

I have two windows computers and neither one will let me import a file into registrator viewer. Any suggestions.

I'm no expert with Registrator Viewer. I'll bring it up on screen, click + sign (on top right side) and it'll open my computer files. Click on what file you want, click open and it'll go in R V. I'm on windows 10 too.

Thanks Bungus, I was going to file and then open. I did not know about the plus on the right side of the screen. I need to find a manual on this so I can learn how to cut and splice some files together. I'm doing a motorcycle trip to Colorado and Utah the last of Sept. and would like to get a few video's.

Under Jokiin's signature have links to it. If cursor is placed over items in RV it opens up to explain function just as in Msetup. Good luck. Took me sometime to figure out terms too. Terms I'm not familiar with until I join this forum
