Does anyone have any suggestions for viewer software? I know there is a player available on the Transcend website but it is limited and does not offer gap free playback.
I would use Registrator Viewer but when trying to play the recorded videos it comes up with a file broken message as it doesn't appear to have the correct codec. VLC and Windows Media Player play them fine so I know the necessary codecs are already installed in Windows 8.

I was sending a message to Vadim as you replied. I have just tried DashCamViewer too and this does play the files but is very choppy.

Thanks

Vince

if they don't play using Registrator Viewer now Vadim will likely suggest you download the K-Lite Codec pack, this will add anything Registrator Viewer needs that it is currently missing, most times it's not needed for Win7 and above but for the odd occasion it still is

Vadim has sent me a version which works. It fails in the release version because the Transcend produces technically broken mov files.

We just released Dashcam Viewer v1.7.7 for Mac and Windows which adds support for the Transcend DrivePro 220. This is version uses a later release of the movie player library and has been compiled as a 64-bit application for Windows. This may help the choppiness you were experiencing.

Thanks,
John
