Viofo bluetooth button capture front and rear cameras?

Hi All

Considering a VIOFO Mini Dash Cam A119 MINI 2 and a VS1 Mini (rear) , i'm going to hard wire the a119 mini 2 and use the rear 12v socket (permanent live) for the VS1 . Question is if i get a bluetooth button would it be able to pair both and capture
at the same time? Or would this only work with cams that are wired together as front and rear setup?

Good question. I think the answer is that it will only pair to one camera, that is normally the whole purpose of pairing a device. However someone did post recently that they had more than one camera paired simultaneously.

I think this is a question for @VIOFO-Support to answer.

And if one Bluetooth Button can't control more than one camera, Viofo should add some software to the cameras to enable one Button to control multiple cameras.

Thanks yes Viofo got back to me quickly and said you would need 2 bluetooth buttons. So i'm just going to go with one button (when theyre in stock!) and then use that as a time stamp if i need the rear footage aswell.
 
Any idea when they may be back in stock? I have two 129 Pro Duos, one with a Bluetooth button, and I'd like one for the second system...

Thanks for that. I had read that but it doesnt answer my question... I want a Bluetooth button for an A129 Pro Duo. Viofo.com and .co.uk both say it is out of stock. Will it be coming back or anyone know of stock anywhere?

This one is also compatible with all our cameras as the old Bluetooth button: https://viofo.com/accessories/360-viofo-btr200-wireless-bluetooth-remote-control.html
For the added features, we will release a new firmware to support soon.
You can use the main button to lock the video at present.

This Bluetooth Button, BTR200, will work in currently available model with the A129 Pro camera by pressing the Lock Video button? (That is: Firmware upgrade only needed for other functions or other camera models?)

Yes, it can support locking the videos. For other functions, we will release firmware to make it to support also.
